Author: differentFOCUS I Did
This is dedicated to my friend PappyStu, who is in a lot of pain as his Father falters. It's hard to watch someone you love begin the process of passing. We most certainly grieve for ourselves too. My mind was on Pappy this morning, as I wrote the words to this prose and created the soundtrack. Words to prose: I Did I never thought I'd laugh again, I never thought I'd smile, but I did. I couldn't understand why the world wouldnt' stop... Didn't they know my pain? I did Out of focus - no concentration, no one understands, but I did. How can anyone know, the suffering, the pain, the deathly silence, the stinging rain? Finally I reached back to those loving arms and heard HIM say, I did. Music whispered and arranged by, "The Sound Whisperer" (me) Song is uploaded as a free mp3 at soundclick: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=7083303&q=hi&newref=1 It will stay unrated because it is too short to be rated.

Click here for an updated audio version of this song! http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=6618803&q=hi&newref=1 This song is entitled "Thank God You're A Woman" © 2008, Lisa Mei Norton It is a song I originally wrote and performed with my guitar in 1999 for a Women's History Month function. I finally decided it was time to create a backing track for it and I updated the lyrics a bit... I was inspired to work on this song and create this tribute video when I learned of Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin being named by Senator McCain as his Vice Presidential running mate...I am beyond impressed by all her outstanding achievements and salute her for fighting a good fight during this very tough campaign... Don't count this superstar out just yet... SHE'LL BE BACK!! About Single_playerThis article is about the video gaming term. For single-player card games, see Solitaire.
In video gaming, single-player refers to the variant of a particular game where input from only one player is expected throughout the course of the gaming session. A "single-player game" usually implies a game that can only be played by one person, while "single-player mode" usually refers to an option in an otherwise multiplayer (or two-player)(3 on 3)video game that allows for play by one player.[1] The majority of early computer games were single-player. Two-player games appeared with the first personal computers, and 1978 introduced the first multiplayer games, known as MUDs. The early 1990s introduced many games which utilized local area networks and null modems for multiplayer mode. Doom is a notable example of one such game. The major selling points of larger single-player games are interesting storylines, impressive graphics, and realistic non-player characters and opponents. Notable examples include the Half-Life, Doom and The Legend of Zelda series. Selling points of the smaller games are low learning curve and availability (many are free to play on various sites). Certain game genres are inherently oriented towards single-player in their design. Such genres include puzzle games, such as Tetris, and plot-based role-playing games (RPGs). Recent additions to these genres, such as the MMORPGs or online multiplayer versions of Tetris are serving to undo this trend. The vast majority of modern console games and arcade games are designed so that they can be played by a single player; although many of these games have modes that allow two or more players to play (not necessarily simultaneously), very few actually require more than one player for the game to be played. The Unreal Tournament series is an example of such. References
